Scholarships are available for students
during their 2 years in college (JC study awards) and also during
their undergraduate years (Undergraduate Scholarships).
JC Study Awards
JC Study Awards are offered by the Ministry of Education, statutory
boards (such as DSTA), private organizations and our college.
They do not carry any bond liability and most of them are tenable
for two years of JC studies, subject to the scholars’ satisfactory
progress in their schoolwork at the end of JC1.
The main types of JC Study Awards open to JC students are:
- 3 Types of MOE JC Scholarships:
- Pre-University Scholarships - $750 per annum plus remission of school fees;
- Humanities Awards - $1000 per annum; and
- LEP Scholarships - $1000 per annum.
- Study Awards offered by Statutory Boards/Private Organisations:
- A*STAR JC Science Award - $1000 per annum
- DSTA Scholarships - $1000 per annum;
- GIC Rafflesian Excellence Award - $1000;
- MAS JC Award - $1000; and
- SPF Book Prize - $2000.
- College JC Scholarships:
- Dr Tan Ser Kiat Scholarships - $1000;
- Sim Hay Lum MEP Scholarship - $300; and
- 1965 RI Pre-U 2 Science B Scholarship - $500.
The main requirements of JC Study Awards
are that students must have achieved excellent academic results and possess good CCA records and have shown leadership
qualities.
Undergraduate Scholarships
Information on undergraduate scholarships available for students
is updated regularly and posted below. Students will also be able
to obtain advice on the application of scholarships from the Student
Services Centre. RJC also organises a Scholarship Day where students
and parents can find out more about the scholarships available.
An online portal at http://www.brightsparks.com.sg/rjc/
also provides students with up-to-date information on scholarships
and related matters. It also allows students to apply for scholarships
online.

RJC Scholarship Day is an annual event where organisations are invited to set up booths in the college to provide students & parents with the latest information about the scholarships they offer. This year, the event was open to all RJC students and their parents, as well as to RI & RGS Sec 4 students.
The 25 organisations which participated in the 2008 RJC Scholarship day were: A*STAR, CAAS, DSTA, FIREfly, GIC, HDB, IDA, Jobsfactory (Brightspark), Keppel Group, KPMG (Big four audit company), LTA, MCYS, MINDEF, MOE, MFA, MAS, NATSTEEL, PSC, PUB, SPF, SP, URA, NUS, NTU and SMU.
