RJC, the Management Committee and the alumni body are committed to support any student who requires financial assistance to complete his or her education in the college. No deserving student who qualifies for RJC will be denied admission because of financial difficulties.

Local students may apply for the following financial assistance programmes:

RJC FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME/EXAMINATION SUBSIDY

The RJC Financial Assistance Scheme/Examination Subsidy is provided by the Board of Governors (BOG), Ex-Rafflesians and Well-Wishers.

Types of Assistance

  • Monthly allowance, or
  • Examination subsidy (Full or partial).

Approval is on a case-by-case basis. The scheme will be renewed on a yearly basis.

MOE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME

Type of Assistance

  • Full Waiver of school fees, and
  • Waiver of 50% of standard miscellaneous fees, and
  • Bursary of $500.

Approval is on a case-by-case basis. The scheme will be renewed on a yearly basis. JC 2 students who were on the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme the previous year are required to re-apply for the scheme if they still wish to be on it.

OTHER BURSARIES AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEMES

Some financial assistance and bursaries given by organisations include:

  • Singapore Buddhist Lodge Education Foundation
  • Ulu Pandan Citizens’ Consultative Committee (CCC) Bursary and Scholarship;
  • Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD) Education Programme Awards; and
  • Singapore Indian Education Trust.

Students will be informed of the various eligibility criteria when the schemes are open for application.
