Project Work is an authentic form of learning which prepares learners for the demands of the workplace. Project Work provides learners with opportunities to break away from the compartmentalisation of knowledge and skills. Learners are encouraged to go beyond the textbook, to work collaboratively, to think critically, creatively and independently, and to communicate their findings.

Aim and Objectives
Project Work (PW) aims to provide pupils with opportunities to explore the inter-relationships and inter-connectedness of subject-specific knowledge. Pupils will be able to:

• apply creative and critical thinking skills
• improve communication skills (both oral and written)
• foster collaborative learning skills
• develop self-directed inquiry and life-long learning skills
