Library Assistant (2-year Contract)

Job Responsibilities:

You will assist the Librarian in developing and managing the library facilities and inventory.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service to library users
  • Handle reference enquiries
  • Routine correspondence
  • Assist in maintaining the library collection and equipment

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Provide other administrative support

Job Requirements:

  • At least a GCE 'O' level qualification
  • Knowledge of Hanyu Pinyin
  • Preferably working experience in a library environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task and a team player
  • Able to work shifts

This position is on a 2-year contract basis (conversion to Permanent will be based on performance).
