This serves as the guiding light for the Mathematics Department at RJC. The teaching programme is carefully planned and constantly fine-tuned with the needs of the students in mind to ensure that they are able to learn at different paces. Opportunities abound for all students to maximize their potential.

Appropriate Courses
A-Level Mathematics is offered to students who offered Additional Mathematics at O-Level while AO-Level Mathematics is offered to those who did not. Those with a strong interest in Mathematics will find Further Mathematics at A-Level a challenging and interesting subject while those with a mathematical flair will undoubtedly find the S-Paper a worthy challenge, as 40% of the paper deals with non-routine and beyond-the-syllabus questions.

Co-Curricular Enrichment
The weekly discussions of the Mathematics Society enable students to delve into Mathematics beyond the syllabus. The college also encourages students to participate in the American Mathematics Competitions and Mathematics Olympiads.

Interactive Access
The department has designed its own web page which allows students to download materials such as the syllabus and preliminary examination papers. Students who have difficulties can also consult their tutors through electronic mail and forums.
