Things to look out for:

There are lots of ways you can do your research in RJ (JC), e.g. Student Services Centre, Library

  • Requirements
Look out for any special requirements. For example, some colleges require non arts students to take arts modules. Make sure you will not be required to do anything which may be problematic for you.
  • Academic style
Cornell and Brown are both Ivy League, but very different. Cornell: both liberal arts and preprofessional. Brown: freewheeling in terms of classes, majors and grades.
  • Lifestyle
Different colleges will offer different lifestyle experiences: rural/urban, small friendly campus/large impersonal campus.
Some colleges have special lifestyle features - for example: the high quality of food at Cornell, an advantage which comes from the fact that Cornell runs reowned hotel and catering management programmes. Find out as much as you can about the college you intend to apply for and make sure it suits your needs and tastes.
